Description

Three things go wrong with a vacuum pack: the zipper picks up grit, the zipper dries out, and something puts a small hole in the fabric. The TILLIV Performance Kit covers all three in one pouch, which is cheaper and considerably less annoying than buying the parts separately when you already have a problem.

Inside are four repair patches at 5 x 5 cm, five zipper lubricant wipes, and a five-gram tube of zipper gel. That is enough to keep a set of packs in service for a long time.

For regular maintenance

Run a lubricant wipe along the length of the zipper to lift off fibres and dust. Follow with the gel: a pea-sized amount into each side of the zipper head, then open and close the zipper five times to spread it. Store the pack with the zipper closed.

For a puncture

The patches are for small holes in the body of a pack, not for leaks at the zipper. Clean and dry the area, cut the patch down
