Curatorial Narrative The Atlas of the Munsell color system Pl.12, created by Albert Henry Munsell in 1915, occupies a pivotal position within the Modernist canon. As an artist and educator, Munsell sought to revolutionize the way we perceive and categorize colors, leading to the development of his eponymous color system.
